Trek Leader Course is a bootcamp style comprehensive outdoor leadership course. You will learn the skills required to become a confident trek leader.

What is this Trek Leader Course?

Trek Leader Course comprises of everything in the MOTHER course (Master of the Hills & ER). Additionally it trains you in team dynamics, decision making, four kinds of leadership including active followership, rescue, self rescue, contingency planning and organizing.

During the MOTHER Course, that is the initial 10 days of the course, you would’ve mastered route finding, map reading, navigation, rappelling, advanced rappelling, anchoring, belaying, Basic Life Support (BLS), Emergency Response (ER), trekking, backpacking, primitive camping, and basic astronomy.

Choose to stay 4 extra days and then you will have the option to graduate as a Trek Leader.  Stay, food and local transportation will be provided.
